St John’s Shopping Centre has announced plans for Images, the gift and accessories retailer, to open a store this week. The Perth store will be the second store for the retailer, which is based in Dundee, and will be an extension to its current retail offering based in Dundee’s The Wellgate. Images offers customers a unique range of watches, jewellery, fashion handbags and scarves as well as a large toy department. The store, which will be situated in the South Street Mall, is the fourth new store opening to be announced in St John’s Shopping Centre in as many weeks. This announcement is further evidence that St John’s Shopping Centre is a desirable destination for retailers, and continues to perform well against industry competitors. Siobhan McConnell, St John’s Shopping Centre manager, commented, “We are delighted to welcome another independent retailer, Images, to St John’s Shopping Centre. We are very proud of our mix of both national and independent retailers in Perth.”
