Young Jamie McNair, 6, from Auchterarder will be getting his school holidays off to a playful start after winning the top prize in St John’s Shopping Centre’s recent Young Jones and the Temple of Lost Treasures competition which ran alongside the launch of the recent Indiana Jones film on 22nd May. The prize, a Nintendo Gamecube, was won after Jamie completed his treasure hunt entry for Indy’s lost items, which were hidden inside retailer windows in the St John’s Shopping Centre. Not only did he find all eight items successfully, his entry was pulled out of the hat by his namesake, and St John’s Shopping Centre’s Administrator, Jamie Nie! Jamie said, “I can’t wait to get home and start playing with it. My big brother also entered but I’ve beaten him to the big prize. He’ll have to ask me nicely if he wants a go!” Jamie Nie commented “I’m so pleased for him. It was fantastic seeing all the kids running from shop to shop, trying to find Indy’s lost items.
