Marie Curie has Perth’s Christmas Gifts All Wrapped Up
15 December 2008Last minute Christmas shoppers will have the opportunity to get their Christmas gifts all wrapped up this weekend by volunteers from Marie Curie Cancer Care, who will be wrapping gifts in St John’s Shopping Centre. The festive wrappers will be situated right at the heart of the shopping centre, near BB’s Coffee & Muffins, from this Friday 19th December right up until Christmas Eve, 12 noon until 5pm, and will be on hand with their paper and scissors to take the stress out of last minute gift buying. Siobhan McConnell, St John’s Shopping Centre manager said “We’re very glad to have the team from Marie Curie Cancer Care back in the shopping centre this Christmas. Their gift wrapping service is always immensely popular with shoppers and by giving up their time and gift wrapping skills, they always raise substantial amounts of money for the charity.” This year, in keeping with St John’s Shopping Centre’s Green Christmas campaign, the ladies from Marie Curie Cancer Care will be wrapping up your presents in recycled gift wrap.
